A Photographer is essential in documenting and showcasing a memorable summer at 6 Points Sports Academy. Photographers work on the communications team and spend most of their time capturing, editing, and uploading. Photographers are key members of our summer staff putting forth hundreds of photos for our camp community to enjoy during the summer and year round. Photographers must be familiar and support the mission of 6 Points Sports Academy and act in accordance with this mission. Please reach out to Sports NC if you have any questions.Key Responsibilities Capture Sport Majors, Electives, Special EventsUtilize camera and prior experience to judge and capture moments focusing on camp communityStrive for every face, every place, every day – striving to capture all the people and places at campConfirm daily schedule assignments and prepare needed resources with communications team leadership and teammatesIntentionally capture camp population being mindful of boundaries while shootingUpload and edit photographs daily, minimum twice a day, to share with rest of communications teamEnsure organization of all photos are uploaded properly through directed processes by team leadRelate with campers and staff throughout day building rapport with camp community while capturing camp lifeAwareness of impact as a role model following required camp policies and values while working on staffJoin camp community and participate around staff community moments like Friday night Oneg (end of week staff appreciation and staff update), Shabbat, and moreWork collaboratively with fellow teammates and leadership to enhance the overall camp experience for yourself and the camp community, knowing emergency procedures for situations that may ariseCompensation$2,000-3,000RequirementsExperience and comfortability utilizing camera equipment to capture digital photographs showcasing sports photographyAbility to edit photos with applications such as and not limited to: Adobe LightroomPrior knowledge and portfolio of photography work ability to capture with a preference for sports photographersAbility to manage multiple projects with quick deadlines while working with teammates in a respectful manner contributing positively to the team cultureFlexible working style with comfort in pivoting and changing direction to meet needs of the dayHow to ApplyApply Online at (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below)./#J-18808-Ljbffr
