Photographer and Social Media Manager

Christ School seeks an adaptable, high energy content creator who is strongly versed in photography. Our digital footprint rivals any high school in North Carolina with a combined social media following of 31,000 across all scholastic and athletic accounts. We are predominately a visual Communications Department with three of four team members being camera-first professionals. Short‑form video and photos which capture the essence, and at times wittiness, of our relational‑based school community will continue to be the biggest valuation drivers for us, content‑wise, moving forward. This position will require flexibility with daily photography coverage, as well as some light writing needed for social media captions and supplementary help with editorial material for our biannual school magazine, "The Galax".Key Responsibilities and DutiesProduce daily content that entertains, uplifts, and tonally aligns with Christ School’s mission and values.
