About the Role

Spoiled Rotten Photography is looking for an energetic, patient, and kind Photographer Assistant to help make Picture Day fun and unforgettable! You’ll work directly with preschool and school-age children, helping them feel comfortable, cheerful, and confident in front of the camera.

No photography experience needed — we’ll train you! Just bring your smile, energy, and love for kids.

We’re Looking For Someone Who

LOVES working with people — especially preschoolers
Has a bubbly, outgoing personality
Is patient, dependable, and always on time
Can bend, squat, and stay active for 4–5 hours
Has reliable transportation and a manageable commute
Can stay focused (no texting or social media during sessions)

Schedule & Details

Part-time, seasonal (Spring & Fall, when schools are in session)
Typically 2–4 mornings per week, 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Perfect for early risers who want flexible, rewarding work

What You’ll Do

Assist the photographer with setup, lighting, and props
Greet and interact with children to bring out their best smiles
Keep sessions running smoothly and stay upbeat throughout the day
Help organize barcodes, checklists, and student details
Support cleanup and pack-up — leaving each space spotless
