Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training.Minimum 5 years of experience shooting news content in a broadcast television environment.Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.Experience working with Dalet Galaxy newsroom systems.Proficiency with asset management and file-sharing platforms, including LMX and Latakoo.Strong understanding of live remote and wireless newsgathering technology.Demonstrated ability to enterprise, research, and plan news stories.Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.Team player who is flexible and able to adapt quickly in a changing broadcast environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, often with short notice.Ability to perform medium to heavy physical work, including lifting and carrying camera equipment weighing 15–30 pounds for extended periods.Eligibility Requirements: Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV through nbcunicareers.com, including a reel of original work, to be considered.Willingness to travel and work overtime, including weekends, with short notice.Must be willing to work on-site at the station in Orlando, Florida.Ability to work any 24/7 shift schedule and respond to breaking news events.Must be at least 18 years of age.Must possess unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.Must have a valid Florida driver’s license.Must be willing to submit to a background investigation.Must be covered by Solutions, NBCUniversal’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program.Desired Characteristics: If you are a qualified individual with a disability or a disabled veteran and require support throughout the application and/or recruitment process as a result of your disability, you have the right to request a reasonable accommodation.
