Photographer for Apartment Showings

Realtyshoot New York, New York

Pay is $72 to $165 an hour, billed per visit, settled every Friday.

RealtyShoot arranges photography for agents marketing co-ops, rentals and new-development condos around Manhattan. We are adding a few independent shooters for midtown and downtown work this autumn.

What one booking looks like

The address, the door code and a brief covering each room reach you the night before. You turn up, work through the brief, and the untouched frames go up that evening. Beyond that, nothing: our staff makes the appointment, speaks to the agent, grades the pictures and returns the finished set.

Gear

A body that takes swappable lenses, with your widest sitting near 16mm in full-frame terms. Bring lights if you use them; plenty of our people do not. Some way of getting that bag around the island.

Who does well

Anyone who reads a brief closely, turns up at the hour promised, and has worked indoors before, whether that was homes, hotels or design studios.

Getting considered

Point us at a page on the web showing rooms you have photographed. Every link gets opened. With nothing to open, there is no way to judge the application and it goes no further.
