This role plays a critical part in executing high-quality imagery, directing on-set production, and ensuring consistency with client standards and workflows.What You’ll DoLead On-Set ExecutionDirect on-model, tabletop, and mannequin shoots with confidenceOwn the pace and flow of set—keeping teams aligned and production movingCollaborate with stylists, HMU, and talent to execute clean, consistent looksMake real-time adjustments to lighting, composition, and framingMaintain consistency across high-volume, repetitive shooting environmentsDeliver High-Quality ImageryCapture images that align with client style guides and creative directionEnsure accuracy in focus, exposure, color, and compositionExecute against shot lists and deliver required image countsMaintain precision in file naming, metadata, and shot trackingPerform quality checks before assets move downstreamOwn Workflow & OutputManage image workflow from capture through handoffEnsure files are uploaded, organized, and archived correctlyPartner with production to hit daily output goals and timelinesProvide accurate time estimates and support scheduling needsKeep production efficient without sacrificing qualityDrive Consistency & ImprovementParticipate in pre-production planning and post-shoot reviewsBuild and maintain lighting diagrams, references, and visual guidesIdentify ways to improve speed, consistency, and workflowDocument processes to support repeatability across teamsSupport the Studio TeamMentor and support junior photographersCollaborate with stylists, producers, and studio leadershipMaintain organized digital and physical workspacesAssist with studio setup, breakdown, and general operationsWhat You Bring2–3 years of experience in commercial or e-commerce photographyStrong portfolio showing studio-based or high-volume workConfidence directing talent and managing on-set dynamicsStrong technical foundation in lighting and capture workflowsHigh attention to detail with a focus on consistency and efficiencyAbility to work quickly and manage multiple prioritiesStrong communication and collaboration skillsTechnical SkillsCapture One proficiency requiredExperience with professional camera systems (Canon, Phase One)Studio lighting experience (Profoto or similar)Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop required)Familiarity with ShotFlow or similar tools is a plusComfortable working on Mac systemsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and work on a studio floor for extended periodsAbility to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbsAbility to work in low-light environments with frequent lighting changesAbility to move throughout studio and warehouse spacesWork EnvironmentFast-paced e-commerce production studioOn-set and warehouse environmentWork performed under active production lighting and shoot conditionsAdditional RequirementsMust be local to the Portland area or able to commuteFlexible schedule based on production needs #J-18808-Ljbffr
