About the position Responsibilities • Shoots video for news/sports reports • Confers with other personnel to discuss assignments, logistics, and shot requirements • Sets up, composes, and executes video shots • Maintains video equipment • Edits video for television broadcasts and digital content • Operates live backpacks (TVU, LiveU) and live truck • Performs other duties as assigned Requirements • High school diploma or GED • Fluency in English and Spanish • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written • Minimum two years of experience operating video recording equipment • Proficiency with computers, telephones, and other office equipment • Proficiency with video and audio recording equipment • Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously • Flexibility to work any shift • Valid driver's license Nice-to-haves • College or vocational degree • Professional experience in television news or production photography • Proof of a successful internship
