Photographer, Shopbop job at Bop LLC. DESCRIPTION Shopbop is seeking an experienced Photographer to join our e-commerce photography team in our Madison, WI studio. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to capture high-quality, visually compelling images of a wide range of products both on and off model. The ability to work collaboratively within interdependent teams is a must, so the right person will have an understanding of the balance needed between artistry, organization, communication, and cooperation. Key job responsibilities • Produce consistently high-quality, color-accurate, and properly exposed images • Perform a variety of standardized product photography with a high level of competence • Work with senior photographers on lighting, visual aesthetics, and technical problem-solving • Efficiently manage high-volume image workflows (~ 3,000 files per day) • Verify color accuracy and make corrections as needed to maintain visual standards • Troubleshoot on-set challenges decisively and communicate issues to relevant stakeholders • Execute creative direction and articulate rationale for decisions to support our brand vision • Identify process improvements to enhance studio performance and productivity • Innovate new approaches for shooting emerging categories or initiatives • Maintain studio equipment, props, and supplies • Provide feedback to ensure successful implementation of new processes BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelors Degree • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced e-commerce photography studio • Excellent command of lighting techniques and photography software (Capture One, Photoshop, Lightroom) • Strong understanding of color profile management and ability to color correct • Ability to work effectively in a constantly evolving, fast-paced environment • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Exceptional attention to detail and work ethic • Compelling portfolio showcasing fashion photograph
