Our digital footprint rivals any high school in North Carolina with a combined social media following of 31,000 across all scholastic and athletic accounts. We are predominately a visual Communications Department with three of four team members being camera‑first professionals. Hours for a typical school day are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. Members of our Communications team work in rotation to cover special events and sports on evenings and weekends as needed. An undergraduate degree in Communications, Photography, Public Relations, Journalism, English, or a related field. Knowledge of basic communications strategy and best practices for social media content that builds and engages audiences.
