We are seeking local shooters both photo and video to expand our operations in Chicago. We are looking specifically for people who have availability for a trial shoot this very weekend, along with the head of our company.

We will be holding interviews for an hour on Friday, again with a view to booking 1 or 2 people for this very weekend to start with. If you are not available for this timeframe please do not apply at this time. Thank you for understanding.

Overview

We are looking for A & B level shooters with own gear, car, with at minimum 20 paid weddings under their belt as shooters.

Key things that will make you successful with us:

1. You love doing this.

2. You know your stuff.

2. You are great with people.

3. You own all required equipment (More on that later)

4. You check your ego at the door.

Duties

Do full and half day wedding shoots: Shoot at the bride's house, studio, ceremony and reception. Can be anywhere from 12 to 17 hours.Operate cameras and other equipment to capture high-quality footage.Liaise with the couple and wedding planner. When on a job, our A shooter is the face of the company.Supervise the other shooters on the job.Coordinate your team during the ceremony and reception to capture the necessary anglesFollow internal best practices.Requirements.

Minimum 25 weddings as a shooter under your belt.Proficiency in operating SLR Cameras.Proficiency with Drone operation (Videographers only)Experience leading small teams in fast paced environments.Good communications.High command of English.Equipment requirements (Photo)
