The House of The Perfumist is looking for an experienced Photographer, Videographer, and Editor to work directly with the Owner and Creative Director of our luxury fragrance house in Houston.

This position is for someone who can professionally photograph, film, edit, and prepare high-quality visual content for our website, Shopify store, social media, advertising, SEO, and brand campaigns.

What You Will Do

Photograph luxury products, packaging, materials, and brand contentFilm and edit short-form and long-form videoCreate product photos and videos for Shopify and our websitePrepare content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, advertising, email, and SEORetouch and edit photography using Photoshop and LightroomEdit professional video using Final Cut Pro or comparable softwareWork between our social media, content, e-commerce, and SEO teamsOrganize and maintain photo, video, and digital asset librariesWork directly with the Owner and Creative Director on new concepts, launches, and campaignsUse modern AI tools to improve photography, video, editing, and content-production workflowsRequirements

You must:

Be local to Houston or the surrounding areaBe available to work on-site a minimum of 3 days per weekHave at least 2–3 years of consistent professional experience in photography, videography, and editingProvide a professional portfolio showing work similar in quality and style to luxury, product, beauty, fashion, jewelry, fragrance, cosmetics, or other premium brandsBe comfortable with professional cameras, lighting, photography, and video productionBe proficient with Photoshop, Lightroom, and Final Cut Pro or similar professional editing softwareHave a strong understanding of current AI creative and editing toolsBe comfortable working with Shopify or able to learn it quicklyBe organized, dependable, punctual, and detail-orientedBe able to take a project from concept and shooting through final editing and deliveryPortfolio & References Required

The House of The Perfumist will provide the cameras, computers, lighting, software, subscriptions, applications, training, and other tools required for the position.
