The purpose of this job is to perform and primarily contribute photographic services with a secondary duty to support videographer, editing, and graphic design projects as required for various City Council functions. Major Duties And Responsibilities • Produce compelling photos in support of the initiatives and is responsible for the management, maintenance, editing, and facilitation of the use of images • Responsible for the capture, catalog, and maintenance of an archive of current and past photographs Proactively identifies opportunities to build relationships and establish dialogue with the community and media • Coordinate with internal divisions within the City of Atlanta to remain abreast of new developments (ex: community functions, and local events directly impacting ATL) • Identifies images and videos to help enhance social media platforms • Collaborate with the communications staff to capture necessary photographs and videos to incorporate into promotional materials and reports.
