Photographer/Videographer Interns needed for fashion & culture event

This is a part-time, on-site role based in Encinitas, CA for Photographer and Videographer Interns supporting a fashion and culture event. Interns will capture high-quality photo and video content before, during, and after the event, including behind-the-scenes moments, runway looks, fittings, "meet the models", audience interactions, and brand storytelling visuals. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up and breaking down equipment, collaborating with the creative and event teams on shot lists, and ensuring consistent visual style aligned with SITA Couture’s brand. Interns will assist with basic editing and organization of footage, file management, and preparing content for social media and marketing use. The role also involves supporting live content creation, such as short clips and social stories leading up to event, while maintaining a professional and respectful presence at the event.

This is a non-paid internship but possible hire once internship complete.

Qualifications

Strong photography and videography skills, including experience with DSLR or mirrorless cameras and basic lighting techniques.Proficiency with photo and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or similar software).Understanding of fashion, culture, and lifestyle storytelling, with an eye for composition, detail, and brand aesthetics.Ability to work on-site at events, manage time effectively, and adapt in fast-paced, live production environments.Professional communication skills and the ability to collaborate respectfully with models, guests, and team members.Interest in sustainable fashion, ethical production, and inclusive representation in visual media.Prior experience shooting events, fashion, or lifestyle content is preferred but not required; a portfolio or sample work is highly beneficial.Availability for part-time scheduling around event dates and related preparation activities.
