The School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University seeks applications for a part-time lecturer in photography for Fall 2025 and Spring 2026. Requirements include: a proficiency teaching digital photography and printing techniques, practices, and critique, as well as a thorough knowledge of the discourses (theory and history) of photography in a fine arts context; a demonstrated commitment to teaching; the ability to teach students with a wide range of cross-disciplinary interests and to support their work both conceptually and technically; and good interpersonal skills, including clarity, generosity, and creativity. There is a possibility of serving on end-of-semester student review boards for additional compensation. Candidates must have an MFA in Photography or Studio Art, college -level teaching experience (preferably at both the undergraduate and graduate levels) and proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite, DSLR cameras, and Epson Printers.
