Photography Assistant

Job Summary: Ballerina Farm is looking for a creative and reliable Photography Assistant to join our team part-time. In this role, you'll report directly to the Art Director and collaborate closely with the Creative and Marketing teams to bring visual concepts to life - both in studio and on location. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in photography and post-production who's ready to grow in a fast-paced, creative environment. Responsibilities: • Assist on photo shoots, including setup and breakdown of gear and equipment • Support styling, props, and maintaining shoot organization and flow • Help manage image culling, editing, and retouching using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop • Organize and back up digital assets after shoots • Assist with behind-the-scenes content creation • Communicate with talent, clients, or team members during shoots as needed • Collaborate with the Creative and Marketing teams to help execute visual goals Qualifications: • 2-3 years of hands-on experience in photography or assisting • Strong working knowledge of Lightroom and Photoshop • Attention to detail and an eye for composition, lighting, and color • Strong communication and organizational skills • Flexible schedule and dependable work ethic • Based in Utah and Salt Lake County Bonus Skills (Not Required, but a Plus): • Experience with video production or on-set video support • Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro or other video editing software • Ability to assist with video content capture or editing for social media or campaigns
