Photography Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Photographer's Assistant to join our creative team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about children's photography, looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. The Photographer's Assistant will support the lead photographer in various tasks with an opportunity to move to a photography position as well.

You will arrive at the designated childcare facility and assist in getting infants through 5 year olds "picture ready." This includes going get the kids from their classrooms, wiping their faces, brushing hair, and organizing a name list to correctly name the child for future editing and take them back to their rooms after the picture is done.

Pay varies depending on past photography experience and the possibility of wanting to move up to a photographer position. Minimum starting pay at $17.00 an hour.

Responsibilities

Making sure children are safe and look their best before pictures are taken.

Must be able to drive and have valid drivers license.

Must pass background check

Be able to talk respectfully to adults in the building and with your co worker.

Overnight travel is involved.

Qualifications

Must be high energy, positive attitude and bubbly personality

MUST LOVE KIDS and work well with adults

Must be an early riser- hours are roughly 6:30am-noon Monday thru Friday

Must be able to physically get up and down from the floor to standing and be good with light physical activity for long periods of time
