Photography Assistant (Part Time) at Buffalo Sabres Buffalo, NY

Hockey Western New York is looking to add game night editors and additional, part-time photographers to their photo team! Hours will be on an as needed basis and as a result, there will not be a consistent schedule. Photographers will be involved with photographing media days, community events, concerts, business development objectives as well as some game night activations. This is not a primarily sports action photography role. Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Photo Mechanic Strong understanding of metadata and digital asset management Experience with Getty style captioning Demonstrated ability for visual story telling Ability to work with all members of the photo team to ensure the highest quality output Ability to adapt in an ever-changing environment Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple assignments Ability to work under pressure with high expectations Ability to work non-traditional hours including nights, and weekends as needed Strong understanding of on camera and off camera lighting
