Photography Assistant (Part Time)

The HWNY photo editor/photographer will be involved in aspects of the creative, media, public relations and content departments. Hours will be on an as needed basis and as a result, there will not be a consistent schedule. Photographers will be involved with photographing media days, community events, concerts, business development objectives as well as some game night activations. This is not a primarily sports action photography role. Minimum Qualifications for the Position: • Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Photo Mechanic • Strong understanding of metadata and digital asset management • Experience with Getty style captioning • Demonstrated ability for visual story telling • Ability to work with all members of the photo team to ensure the highest quality output • Ability to adapt in an ever-changing environment • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple assignments • Ability to work under pressure with high expectations • Ability to work non-traditional hours including nights, and weekends as needed • Strong understanding of on camera and off camera lighting
