Photography Coordinator Job at Louisiana State University (LSU) in Baton Rouge

Collaborates with communications, social media and branding, creative design, marketing, TAF, Sports Properties, and various other departments to fulfill any needs before, during, and after games and events. Assist with the management of the athletic photo archive, including the sorting of all images into the digital photo drive, as well as the scanning and cataloging of historical photos.25% Manage all areas of photography/primary shooter for two sports as assigned. Collaborates with the coaches, recruiting and personnel staff, administration, and creative team to ideate and execute highly impactful photoshoots and sets for official visits.5%Advances and supports LSU and Athletics Department initiatives through personal participation in educational and developmental opportunities, as well as participation in the creation of a respectful culture consistent with the values of LSU and its Athletics Department; Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Photography, multimedia or other relevant communications field; One year of relevant experience; Ability to take photos, edit, and transmit in a timely manner and based on specific requirements; Experience with Apple/Mac computers; Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Lightroom), Photo Mechanic, and off camera lighting. Candidates who have relevant experience in key job responsibilities are encouraged to apply a degree is not required as long as the candidate meets the required years of experience specified.Preferred Qualifications:Completion in course work in the field of photography, journalism, digital media, mass communication or a related field is preferred; Experience with professional or collegiate sports teams is preferred.Special or Physical Qualifications:Ability and willingness to work extended days, weekends and holidays.
