Photography Editor and Producer

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and skilled visual storyteller and news producer to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for capturing the essence of what's happening in the field and bringing it vividly into the homes of our audience. Main Responsibilities: • Shoot and edit video content for broadcast and online platforms • Work closely with reporters and producers to cover daily stories and produce high-quality news packages • Shoot on assigned professional camera equipment and ensure that all footage is well-lit, in focus, and captures the essential elements of the story • Edit video content using Adobe Premiere and deliver completed work to the station in a timely manner • Gather and organize still images for digital platforms and collaborate with producers to create compelling multimedia content • Work with catalog systems to save, store, and locate necessary video elements • Produce and publish content to online platforms and ensure that all content meets the highest standards of quality and accuracy • Maintain equipment and perform routine checks to ensure that all gear is in good working condition Requirements: • Strong foundation in the art of video photojournalism and experience working with ENG trucks • Ability to carry heavy equipment (up to 50 pounds) and work in all weather conditions • Valid driver's license and clean driving record • Experience with digital editing tools and knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Precis, and CNN platforms • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills and ability to work under tight deadlines • Unwavering commitment to journalistic integrity and ethical standards
