Photography Editor/Back Up Photographer

Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Photography Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess prior experience editing portrait photos, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling. Experience is desirable but not a deal breaker. We are willing to train.

As an Editor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality photos for the parents of the child care/preschools we serve.

Experience with Lightroom Classic is desirable.

Duties

Review and edit picture day photos, to ensure photos are up to our standards.
Editing duties will include use of Lightroom Classic to crop photos, culling and other critical elements to produce final images parents will love!
Maintain an organized workflow for all editorial projects, ensuring deadlines are met efficiently
Complete photo editing within the timeframe provided based on the number of photos in the file

Requirements

Experience or interest in photography.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Additional Role

Serve as a back up photographer for child care picture day shoots

This job is parttime and seasonal. Availability to edit photos 3-4 days a week during the picture day season (March-May and September - November is a MUST.

Pay is based on picture volume.
