About the Role As a Photographic Equipment Buyer, you will work within our Brooklyn based buying team, and will be responsible for procuring photographic equipment for purchase by MPB. The role will involve communicating with potential sellers to help answer any queries on the selling process, and optimise the conversion of leads from initial offer through to a completed sale. Maintaining team data and analysing this weekly to ensure performance targets are being met Operating a sales-led approach to securing inventory that is guided and driven by quarterly purchasing targets Liaising closely with teams across the business to ensure all transactions are dealt with efficiently and customer satisfaction is maintained Proactively highlighting and solving any issues that could affect customer satisfaction or retention Requirements A passion for photography or videography Previous experience within a sales or customer experience environment Detailed technical knowledge of photo/video equipment Robust organisational and time management skills Excellent english language written and verbal communication Benefits Competitive salary Generous PTO allowance Aetna Medical Company EAP Dog friendly office Note on working practices during the Coronavirus outbreak At the time of writing, all office based staff are on a rota system, combining optional time in our covid-secure office with working from home.
