**Overview:** The Arlington County Police Department Photography Internship is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in photography while getting an insider's view of the daily operations within the Special Operations Section (SOS): Motor Unit. As a Photography Intern, you will have the chance to digitally capture images and curate a portfolio that showcases the daily activities of the Motor Unit, Traffic Management Unit, Public Service Aides, and Crossing Guards. **Responsibilities:** • Digitally capture images of daily activities, including police escorts, special events, ceremonies, community outreach initiatives, and patrol activities • Curate a portfolio of photographs showcasing the daily activities of the Motor Unit, Traffic Management Unit, Public Service Aides, and Crossing Guards • Collaborate closely with officers and civilian personnel to gain firsthand insight into the profession of law enforcement • Shadow officers and civilian personnel through their daily routines to gain a deeper understanding of the department's operations • *Qualifications:** • Currently enrolled in a photography-related program or have equivalent experience • Strong photography skills and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to lift and carry photography equipment and other materials • *Benefits:** This internship provides an exclusive opportunity to gain hands-on experience in photography while getting an insider's view of the daily operations within the Special Operations Section.
