Photography Intern

Essential Functions: • Work alongside studio team members - prepping products, capturing images and video, editing and organizing files, and everything in between • Learn the basics of our photography hardware and software - including PhotoRobots, SpinMe, Capture One • Maintain and manage studio equipment • Organize, build and break down in-studio and on-location photo and video sets - create/follow lighting and set diagrams • Keep accurate daily shoot records • Maintain neat a studio, clean equipment, replenish studio supplies, take care of props, accept deliveries, etc. • Photography, basic editing, and understanding lighting. Minimum Requirements: • Enrolled in, or graduate of, an accredited institution for photography (preferably a commercial focus) • A portfolio demonstrating experience in delivering creative and effective photography • Curious and eager to learn • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and work in both a team and individual setting • Some experience in image and video post-processing • Ability to work with both ambient and studio lighting - including familiarity with various light modifiers • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness under pressure • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Capture One • Familiar with studio equipment and photography fundamentals • Rack Room Shoes/ Off Broadway Shoes is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels (EOE).
