Applicants must currently live in the Los Angeles area, own their own digital camera, and be available to begin immediately. This is an in-person role involving events and creative projects at locations throughout Los Angeles.

Interns will receive FREE tickets to both upcoming events.

About the InternshipRed Velvet Studios is building a team of Photography Interns interested in gaining hands-on experience photographing live music, concerts, artists, events, and creative productions throughout Los Angeles.

This internship is an opportunity to build your photography portfolio, expand your experience, network with artists and other creatives, and create content in real-world event environments.

Photography Interns will photograph artists, live performances, behind-the-scenes moments, guests, and event environments while working alongside the Red Velvet Studios team.

Many of our events take place at night or in low-light environments, so applicants should be comfortable photographing in low light or have an appropriate camera-mounted light, external flash, or other lighting equipment that works with their camera.

Event Number 1 — Saturday, October 17th: EDM ShowcasePhotograph Sparkle Glitch's live performance and capture event photography throughout the evening.

Event Number 2 — Friday, October 23rd: BLOOD MOON Halloween PartyPhotograph the event, live performances, artists, guests, and behind-the-scenes moments throughout the night while supporting the Red Velvet Studios team on site.

ResponsibilitiesPhotograph concerts, live performances, artists, events, and creative productions.Capture artist portraits, candid moments, behind-the-scenes content, and event atmosphere.Photograph content that can be used by artists and Red Velvet Studios for social media and promotional materials.Work in indoor, outdoor, daytime, nighttime, and low-light environments.Organize and deliver selected photographs after events and shoots.Assist the creative team with photography-related needs on location.Collaborate professionally with artists, performers, other photographers, interns, and event staff.RequirementsHave reliable transportation to locations throughout Los Angeles.Be available to begin immediately.Be available for both October 17th and October 23rd events.Own and bring your own digital camera for photography.Your camera must be capable of producing quality photos in event environments.Be comfortable photographing in low light, or own a compatible flash, light, or lighting setup that allows you to photograph effectively at night.Have an interest in photography, live music, concerts, entertainment, artists, or creative content.Be dependable, professional, and comfortable working on location.Be able to collaborate with a creative team and take direction.Communicate clearly and confirm availability within 24 hours when contacted about an event or schedule.Be currently enrolled in college or university, or be a recent graduate.

Experience with concert photography, portraits, nightlife photography, events, editing, Lightroom, Photoshop, or social media content is a plus.

Examples of your previous photography work are strongly encouraged.
