Photography Internship

The Norfolk Admirals are seeking a motivated, driven, and passionate student for our Photography Internship during the 2026-27 Norfolk Admirals Hockey Season. This intern will report directly to the Admirals’ Broadcasting & Creative Content staff and will be a crucial part of our game-day photography and content team. The official conclusion may vary due to end-of-season unpredictability. The ideal candidate has prior experience photographing live sports, an understanding of digital platforms and editing software, and a willingness to work evenings and nights based on the Admirals’ home schedule, including weekends and occasional holidays. Responsibilities:Photograph all live hockey action during Norfolk Admirals home games for use in-house, on social media, promotional materials, website content, and other internal needs.Capture game-day atmosphere, fan engagement, arena entertainment, community moments, player arrivals, warmups, intermissions, and other behind-the-scenes content.Edit and organize photos in real time to generate social media content during games.Provide high-quality photo galleries following games for use across Admirals platforms.Post or assist in delivering in-game photos to Admirals social media platforms promptly and accurately.Collaborate with the Broadcast and Content Coordinator, the marketing team, and other team departments to ensure consistent, high-quality content.Assist in capturing creative photo content for marketing campaigns, sponsor fulfillment, theme nights, player features, and promotional materials.
