Photography Lead and Trainer - School and Sports Photography

The Lead Photographer & Trainer is responsible for setting the standard for photography quality and professionalism at Iron City Studios. This role is hands-on and field-focused, serving as a working photographer, mentor, and trainer for new and existing photographers. Lead by Example • Serve as a primary lead photographer on assigned jobs • Demonstrate best practices for lighting, posing, workflow, and efficiency • Model professional on-site behavior and customer interaction • Step in to support photographers during busy or high-pressure shoots Training & Development • Train new photographers on Iron City Studios’ photography standards and processes • Conduct hands-on, in-field training during picture days • Provide clear, constructive feedback to improve image quality and efficiency • Help photographers build confidence and consistency over time Compensation & Benefits • $22–$30 per hour, based on experience • Hourly pay for all time worked, including training and lead assignments • 401(k) with company match • Healthcare reimbursement program • Paid time off per company policy • Paid training and professional development • Company-provided equipment while working
