Looking for a studio assistant for a busy headshot and portrait studio in Costa Mesa, CA. This position will be a mix of in studio / location assisting, as well as admin and potentially photo editing that can be done from home if desired. This is a part time position with variable hourly requirements ranging from 10 to 25 hours / week based on how busy the studio is. This position is best suited for photographers and/or photo editors that already have some experience, but I'm willing to train as well. Basic required skills include: *excellent customer service skills - phones, email, friendly demeanor *able to use email, CRM, internet and other basic software as needed; able to type at least 35 words per minute *ability to adapt and quickly learn software platforms *basic knowledge of photography, lighting and grip equipment (will train as needed) Nice to have skills that may increase your starting pay: *Photoshop and Lightroom *Capture One *Light design / lighting tech *Digital tech experience Job duties / requirements: *answer phones, emails, and field questions about photography services *provide prompt followup to inquiries from potential and existing clients *complete client booking processes and workflows; deliver finalized images to clients via CRM and provide high level customer experience at all times *assist photographer as needed in studio and on location with equipment, setup / teardown *maintain basic cleanliness of the studio; tidy up when needed (no heavy cleaning; there's a cleaning service for that) Potentially / optionally: *learn photo editing workflow and retouch photos *basic photography assignments and/or scouting assignments
