Photography Studio Assistant

True to its heritage though, the company has remained singularly focus on its curated collection of high-style products and unique lighting designs, many of which are produced in-house by the company’s own staff of highly trained artisans. The Photo Studio Assistant will work in the on-site photography studio and samples room, assisting in the assembly of light fixtures and furniture. Photo Studio Assistants will be expected to assemble furniture and fixtures for catalog and cover shoots, as well as moving them in and out of place. • Complete administrative tasks such as labeling, numbering contact sheets, tracking the different stages in the shooting process, and tracking inventory items as they come in and out of the studio for shoots. Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED Required • 1-3 years prior experience in a studio assistant, set design, or other related experience • Ability to stand for long periods of time, crouch, climb ladders, and lift a minimum of 50lbs • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment • Ability to work cross-functionally with other internal departments • Ability to multi-task effectively to complete multiple tasks • Excellent time management and organizational skills • Microsoft Office Experience • *Shades of Light is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, or other legally protected status.
