Photography Teacher

**Overview:** The Sacramento City Unified School District is seeking a dedicated and passionate Photography Teacher to join our team. As a Photography Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate high school students in the art of photography, helping them develop their skills and creativity. **Responsibilities:** • Teach photography classes to high school students, including lecture, lab, and studio instruction • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of diverse students • Assess student progress and provide feedback and guidance • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement district-wide initiatives • Participate in department meetings and professional development opportunities • *Qualifications:** • Single Subject Teaching Credential in Art (CLAD, LDS, SB 1969 or ELA required) • Strong knowledge of photography principles and techniques • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities • *Benefits:** • CalSTRS Retirement • Full medical, dental, and vision coverage for employee and family with no premiums • A supportive and collaborative work environment • Opportunities for professional growth and development • A dynamic and diverse school district committed to student success
