Role Description This Part-time Photography & Videography Intern role is a hybrid position based in New Haven, CT, with some work-from-home flexibility. The intern will assist in planning and shooting photo and video content that showcases classes, instructors, and the studio environment for marketing and social media. Day-to-day tasks include capturing high-quality imagery during sessions, setting up and adjusting lighting, and recording short-form and long-form video content. The intern will also edit images and videos, organize media assets, and collaborate with the team to ensure content aligns with the brand’s aesthetic and messaging. Occasional support for studio events and campaigns, including behind-the-scenes coverage and content preparation, is expected.

Qualifications

Strong Photography skills, including familiarity with studio or on-location shooting.Competence in Image Editing using common photo-editing tools and software.Understanding of Lighting techniques for both photography and videography.Experience or coursework in Video Production, from shooting to basic post-production.Interest or experience in Product Photography, especially lifestyle and wellness-focused content.Attention to detail, strong visual storytelling abilities, and a keen eye for composition.Ability to follow creative direction, work independently, and manage time across studio and remote tasks.Basic knowledge of social media platforms and content formats; familiarity with Pilates, fitness, or wellness is a plus.Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant program (e.g., photography, film, media, design) preferred.
