Portrait Photographer

Lubera Portraits HONOLULU, Hawaii

Overview

Lubera Portraits is a fine art portrait studio specializing in heirloom artwork for families and their beloved pets. Our portraits are designed to live on the walls of our clients’ homes for generations, and the experience of creating them is just as important as the artwork itself.

We are a small, locally owned studio in Honolulu that believes exceptional portraiture comes from equal parts artistry, professionalism, and thoughtful client care. Every interaction with our studio is designed to feel calm, refined, and welcoming — more like visiting a luxury boutique than a traditional photography studio.

We are looking for someone who can deliver a polished and memorable portrait experience for our clients. This role blends artistry with hospitality and is ideal for someone who takes pride in professionalism and enjoys creating meaningful experiences for clients.

Photography experience is welcome, though not required. We provide comprehensive training in both portrait photography and client consultations.

This role offers the opportunity to learn both the artistic and client experience sides of fine art portrait photography while working in a refined studio environment with families and their beloved pets.

The Role

The Fine Art Portrait Artist helps guide families and their pets through a relaxed and enjoyable portrait session while maintaining the polished and welcoming atmosphere that defines Lubera Portraits.

This position blends artistry with hospitality. The ideal candidate is comfortable interacting with people, confident in a professional setting, and attentive to the details that make a studio environment feel organized and welcoming.

The right candidate will gradually take on increasing responsibility within the studio and may eventually lead portrait sessions and client consultations independently.
