ColorPop Portraits values professionalism, reliability, and a friendly presence in every school partnership.Role DescriptionEvery lead photographer joins the team as an assistant to be trained in our process and workflow before leading their own portrait events.Photographers and Assistant roles are part-time, on-site roles based in Greater Cleveland, Columbus and Akron-Canton, serving preschools throughout the respective region.Day-to-day responsibilities include traveling to assigned locations, setting up portable photography equipment and backdrops, and creating a welcoming environment for young children during individual and class portraits.The photographer will direct children and staff in a patient, upbeat manner, capture high-quality images, and manage basic shot organization and record-keeping for each school.Additional tasks may include coordinating with school staff, handling equipment care and transport, and following established Picture Day workflows to ensure an efficient, stress-free experience for everyone.QualificationsFoundational photography skills, including understanding of lighting, composition, and camera operation.Experience working with young children in group or individual settings, with a calm, friendly, and patient demeanor.Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with school staff and interacting with families.Ability to manage schedules, maintain organized records, and follow standardized Picture Day processes.Reliability in transportation to schools across the respective region and capability to lift, carry, and set up equipment.Availability up to 3 days per week Tuesday-Friday during fall and spring seasons; prior school photography or portrait experience is a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
