Product Design and Development Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities Research • Participate in customer survey and market product data collection to create customer requirements specification • Participate in brainstorming of new product requirements to maintain the AltRider brand as smart and deliberate • Provide research and testing of product materials and designs to recommend alternatives that would improve the quality and/or cost efficiency of current approaches • Document findings, cost analysis, and recommendations for presentation to company and archive Product Development • Design initial mockups and validate via the motorcycle and mock up techniques • Produce 3D models • Design prototypes, coordinate fabrication, testing and analysis • Create production drawings • Develop and manage product test plans and execution of testing • Participate in sourcing purchased parts and assemblies and evaluate supplier capabilities.
