Position summary
We're looking for an innovative product photographer with the ability to represent our style, voice, and overall brand aesthetic. The ideal candidate is a photographer/videographer with strong editing skills and the ability to create engaging content. Top notch organization and self-motivation are mandatory.
Responsibilities

Product Knowledge: Learn and retain deep product and brand knowledge across our bridal and fine jewelry lines.
Creative Execution: Shoot and edit photos, videos, and GIFs for product listings, social media, ads, and email, working from creative concepts set by our brand and marketing team and keeping a consistent, on brand look throughout.
Macro & Detail Photography: Capture metal finish, prong work, and stone clarity at close range with lighting suited to small, reflective objects.
Color Accuracy: Maintain true to life, consistent color and white balance across gold tones and gemstones, critical to setting the right expectations
On-Model & Scale Shots: Shoot hand, ear, and neck photography so customers can judge fit and proportion.
Sparkle & Movement: Produce short video or GIF content that shows how a stone catches light in motion.
Bridal Range: Distinguish straight ecommerce product shots from more editorial, emotional bridal and engagement content to serve different parts of the funnel.
Studio & Location Work: Set up and run both studio and on location shoots.
Editing: Edit efficiently in Photoshop and Lightroom, with working knowledge of InDesign for supporting materials.

Digital Asset Management: Maintain our full image and video library, saving files in the format and size that fit each platform.
Collaboration: Partner with the marketing and ecommerce team on new ways to bring product visuals to life online.

Required qualifications

2+ years of professional photography, videography, and editing experience.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom
Demonstrated experience setting up both studio and on location shoots.
An eye for product and lifestyle photography; jewelry or ecommerce experience is a plus.
Basic Photoshop scripting/automation experience is a plus, not required.
Strong organizational and time management skills; comfortable juggling multiple deliverables against aggressive deadlines.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A strategic, proactive problem solver who takes feedback well.
Comfortable working in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
