Product Photographer

E-Commerce is booming! Be a part of a team at Start Distributing that provides marketing services to manufacturers and online retailers. This Product Photographer role takes photos of products that will appear on our clients’ websites and for internal use. This is a part-time role with the potential to grow into a full-time role depending on your skills and ability to take on additional graphics design or video editing tasks. Responsibilities * Capture and process quality product images to meet company standards * Follow a high- volume photographic workflow to minimize costs * Shoot photos using tabletop and lightbox methods * Improve image quality using various editing methods * Arrange objects, scenes, lighting, and background to adhere to specifications * Archive photographic images and maintain a database * Maintaining equipment in an organized workspace * Must be able to work independently Skills * Knowledge of manual camera setting controls * Experience taking product photos with a lightbox * Ability to work with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere * Proficient with traditional and modern equipment * Competency in applying photographic best practices and techniques * Able to follow production process for e-commerce * Stock photography experience a plus * Graphic design skills a plus * Video editing skills a plus Physical Requirements * Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time * Ability to shoot product with strobe lighting for extended periods of time * Ability to look at a computer screen for extended periods of time Job Type: Part-time / Full-time Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
