As our online business continues to grow, we are looking for a talented Product Photography & Ecommerce Specialist who understands that exceptional photography is one of the most important factors in online sales. This is much more than taking product photos. What You'll Do - Photograph crystals, minerals, jewelry, fossils, carvings, and gift items using professional product photography techniques - Capture clean, consistent, high quality images that accurately represent each item's color, brilliance, texture, and unique characteristics - Edit and optimize photographs for web use while maintaining a natural, true to life appearance - Create polished ecommerce product listings including titles, descriptions, dimensions, weights, materials, pricing, and product categories - Upload products into our Thrive inventory management system and Shopify website - Ensure every product listing is accurate, complete, and visually consistent - Organize products into appropriate collections and categories to improve the customer shopping experience - Work alongside our web designer to maintain a cohesive visual style and support new website features, merchandising initiatives, and seasonal collections - Help prioritize and publish new arrivals, featured products, and promotional collections - Maintain an organized workflow while managing a large and continually growing product catalog What We're Looking For - Professional product photography experience is required - A strong portfolio demonstrating high quality product photography is strongly preferred - Experience photographing jewelry, gemstones, collectibles, luxury products, or similarly detailed merchandise is highly desirable - Strong understanding of lighting, composition, color accuracy, focus, and image consistency - Experience with Lightroom, Photoshop, or comparable photo editing software - Experience with Shopify, Thrive, or other ecommerce and inventory management platforms is preferred - Exceptional attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills - Strong written communication skills with the ability to write clear, accurate product listings - Ability to work independently while successfully managing multiple projects and deadlines - Appreciation for gemstones, crystals, jewelry, minerals, fossils, or natural history is a plus - Comfortable safely handling delicate and valuable merchandise The Ideal Candidate You believe every product deserves to look its absolute best.
