Product Photography Intern

HOURS: 15-20 hours per week Status: Part-time

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Product Photography Intern to support our product photography and digital content efforts. This position is responsible for photographing products, editing images, and preparing final files for use across our product information systems and other digital platforms.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Set up and prepare products for photography, ensuring items are properly positioned, presented, and ready for the photo shoot.
Photograph products using a digital camera, capturing required angles, details, finishes, and features according to established guidelines.
Set up and adjust lighting, product positioning, and props to achieve accurate and consistent product images.
Edit and enhance photographs using Adobe Photoshop or similar software to ensure accurate product color, finish, lighting, and overall presentation.
Perform post-production adjustments, including correcting reflections, refining image details, and addressing other visual challenges while maintaining a true-to-life representation of each product.
Ensure consistency across product images, including matching angles, lighting, positioning, and presentation for products available in multiple finishes or variations.
Save, organize, and export completed images in the required file formats and specifications for upload to internal product information systems, including NetSuite (NS), and other digital platforms.
Follow photography standards, workflows, and instructions to ensure accuracy and consistency across all product images.
Identify and implement creative solutions to photography and editing challenges, including the use of props, product positioning, lighting adjustments, and post-production techniques.
Maintain an organized and efficient photo studio and work area.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Currently attending school with a focus on Marketing, Photography, or any related field.

· Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and established guidelines.

· Willingness to learn new photography techniques, software, and processes.

· Ability to work independently while managing assigned projects and deadlines.

· Creative problem-solving skills and a willingness to try different approaches to achieve the desired result.

· Basic computer skills and the ability to organize digital files.

· Ability to be flexible and manage several tasks at the same time to meet deadlines

· Proficiency with Photoshop preferred
