Gibson is searching for an experienced and visionary photographer to spearhead the development and operation of our new product photography studio. The Product Photography Operations Manager will be instrumental in establishing a cutting-edge photographic environment, implementing comprehensive workflows, from concept to final delivery, and ensuring all projects meet the highest standards of quality while adhering to budgets and timelines. Additionally, the Manager will function as a direct conduit with brand, marketing, and e-commerce partners in the creative execution of transactional photography with a high level of competence, proficiency, and efficiency. Essential Functions • Drive development of the product photography studio, including implementation of operational workflows, policy, and procedure • Lead product photography execution, partnering with marketing, brand and e-commerce teams to coordinate photoshoots that align with product launches and marketing campaigns and ensure deliverables meet expectations • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of photographers, editors, and support staff to deliver quality imagery across brand categories • Develop and oversee studio budget, including cost control and resource allocation to ensure operational efficiency • Conduct rigorous reviews of photography techniques, equipment, and software, and implement strategies to continually improve the efficiency and quality of studio output, including the exploration of AI and automation technologies where appropriate • Manage high volumes of workflow including prioritization, planning, and task delegation under tight deadlines • Execute multiple photography projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to brand guidelines • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously innovate, streamline processes, drive efficiencies, and reduce operating costs • Serve as the primary liaison between the photography studio and other departments, including marketing, brand, and e-commerce teams Personal Qualities • Ability to proactively troubleshoot issues to prioritize and identify solutions in a timely manner • Values collaboration and cross-functionality • Results-oriented and driven, with a track record for delivering to plan • Values working in a company with a diverse, challenging, and fast-paced environment • Has a passion for music
