Product Photography & Styling Assistant (Part-Time) — Lalaland Found In-person · South End, Charlotte (28209) · 15–20 hrs/week · $15–17/hr

About us Lalaland Found is a small, independently-owned resale brand. We source vintage and secondhand clothing, shoes, bags, and accessories from estate sales and give them a second life across eBay, Poshmark, Depop, and more. It's hands-on, fast-paced, and creative — and right now we have far more beautiful product than time to shoot it.

The role This is primarily a product photography role with a creative bent. You'll shoot a high volume of fashion and accessory items — but with an eye for styling and composition, not just flat clean shots. Some of your work will also feed our Instagram (@elsie_collective), so there's real room to build a portfolio and grow your styling and creative-direction skills. You'll also help with light prep and organization to keep shoots running smoothly.

What you'll do

Photograph clothing, shoes, bags, and accessories — batch shoots, consistent quality
Style and stage items (flat lay, hanging, occasional mannequin) for a cohesive look
Shoot and contribute content for Instagram
Light prep + organization to support the shoot workflow

You might be a great fit if you

Have a strong eye for composition, color, and styling (gear doesn't matter — phone or camera, the eye is what counts)
Are into fashion, vintage/resale, sustainability, or building a creative business
Are reliable, organized, and can move efficiently through volume
Are a student or early-career creative looking to build a portfolio — photography, fashion, e-commerce, or marketing backgrounds all welcome

Logistics

15–20 hrs/week, flexible around class schedules
$15–17/hr depending on experience
In-person in South End
First step is a paid trial shift, so we both know it's a fit
