Production Designer

Working within NAI Elliott’s established brand guidelines and templates, the Production Designer will create flyers, proposals and other brokerage-related marketing materials primarily using the provided and commercial real estate standard Buildout platform with custom work as required in InDesign. Comfort with project management software such as Basecamp to take direction for new projects, communicate questions with the Marketing Coordinator, as well as track changes and upload documents is essential. The Production Designer should be able to assess a project, identify missing pieces and communicate what they need to complete the task quickly and clearly to the Marketing Coordinator. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING/SKILLS REQUIRED: • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on design preferred • Two or more years of design experience • General knowledge of the methods, materials, tools and equipment used in design • Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign and Photoshop • An eye for design and aesthetics and experience with implementing brand guidelines and following template layouts • Ability to collaborate creating and carrying out design workflow • Willingness to report to and perform tasks for supervisors and managers on a regular basis • Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions • Ability to maintain naming conventions, document changes in design rounds and keep design files organized • Must have excellent verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate timelines, workload and process as requested. Familiarity and fluency with Mac and PC operating systems • Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Teams and Sharepoint LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: • None (real estate license preferred) • Covid-19 vaccination required ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/TASKS: • Create brokerage marketing materials in collaboration with the Marketing Coordinator and in response to broker-specific requests and/or company needs • Understand and apply the company’s brand standards and guidelines in all brokerage marketing materials • Utilize Buildout as the basis for brokerage marketing materials • Utilize InDesign templates for custom marketing materials • Prioritize production of marketing materials in consultation with the Marketing Coordinator and President, as needed • Improve on current production design workflow to increase efficiency, effectiveness and implementation of company brand.
