Fast-growing luxury streetwear brand is seeking a talented and experienced Product Development & Production Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate will be a great team-player with excellent communication & problem-solving skills. Product Development Create & Initiate Development Calendar and communicate to vendors. Partner with Design to initiate new style development with vendors in-time for seasonal delivery Direct initial sample making process Ensure construction is optimized for mass production Source & Manage fabric and trim details Negotiate & Manage Initial Costing & Margin Sourcing & Production Sourcing new products Negotiate Final Prices & Deliveries and calculate LDP costs Place orders for new styles & replenishment styles Carefully review pro-forma invoices to ensure prices, quantities, & terms are correct Partner with Accounting to make sure invoices are paid on-time Follow up on progress and delivery, update tracking report & distribute to team Daily communication with suppliers Quality Assurance & Control Vendor Compliance – Assure adherence to Vendor Instructions Traffic & Logistics Manage Shipments from Domestic & International Suppliers Partner with Customs Broker for US Customs & Duty Rates Partner with Freight Forwarder and negotiate International Boat & Air Rates Excellent Organization & Communication Skills Strong computer skills including expert knowledge of Excel Strong math skills Excellent problem-solving skills Expert negotiator
