Now in our 68th year of business, Mayo Studios seeks a Production Manager to be responsible for all studio production staffing, scheduling and project- related client communication. The Production Manager must communicate with Principals to organize all project requirements and ensure all studio physical and digital processes and deliverables are handled efficiently. The Production Manager works closely with the Post Production Coordinator. A major component of this role involves maintaining detailed, up-to-the-minute documentation of project information using web-based software tools and calendars as needed. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: \\+ Manage studio schedule \\+ Manage all projects in production \\+ Coordinate and participate in staff meetings \\+ Hire freelance talent as needed in order to complete projects \\+ Troubleshoot issues and find solutions for a wide range of production- related \\+ Keep track of Post- Production team schedule, staffing and output \\+ When requested, work with billing department to ensure jobs are billed accurately \\+ Manage project info in shared location \\+ Manage traffic on projects / prioritization \\+ Bring forth creative solutions for project scheduling visualization \\+ Help to quality-control output; examine specs/format for all deliverables (…be “the last set of eyes”) \\+ Anticipate needs: both internal and external \\+ Help make cost-effective decisions re: production \\+ Be budget-minded: both in terms of time spent on projects as well as production recommendations made to clients Experience \\+ 4 or more years in Project Management \\+ Expert use of project management software \\+ Experience in photography and/or 3D visualization a plus Salary $75-85k + benefits This position is ON-SITE in our Long Island City, NY studio.
