Production Specialist

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Production Specialist to join our busy production team. This position combines computer-based artwork preparation with hands-on production and order fulfillment.

You will spend part of your day preparing artwork and digital files in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Bridge and part of your day preparing materials, customizing products, assembling orders, and performing quality checks.

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys both computer work and hands-on production, takes pride in accuracy, and can stay organized while moving between different tasks.

What You Will Do

Prepare and format existing artwork for production using Adobe Photoshop.
Resize, crop, position, and make basic edits to graphics and images.
Use Adobe Bridge to download, organize, rename, and manage artwork and customer image files.
Maintain organized digital files and folders according to established naming conventions.
Review artwork for sizing, spelling, placement, alignment, and accuracy.
Prepare materials and products for production.
Operate production equipment and follow established procedures.
Customize, assemble, and finish products according to order specifications.
Perform quality checks on artwork and completed products.
Compare finished products to job orders to ensure all specifications are met.
Move between computer-based and hands-on production tasks as priorities change.
Communicate with team members about order details or production concerns.
Keep work areas organized and help keep production moving efficiently.

Experience with Adobe Bridge, prepress, printing, or production is helpful, but training can be provided to the right person.

Physical Requirements

This is an active position requiring both computer work and physical activity. You must be able to:

Sit for extended periods while completing computer and artwork tasks.
Stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach throughout the work area.
Perform repetitive hands-on tasks.
Regularly lift and move boxes weighing up to 45 pounds.
Transition between seated computer work and hands-on production throughout the day.
