Project / Purchasing Coordinator for Food Truck Manufacturer

As Project Coordinator, your main goal is to provide the shop team with everything they need to be successful just in time for them to use it. We expect the Project Coordinator to be a 100% desk job, however familiarity with basic shop tools, supplies, and fabrication processes would be useful. What you’ll do: \\- Use a combination of software (Fishbowl and Trello) to track inventory and purchasing (we will train you on both) \\- Help us to audit and improve a physical bin system for our parts room \\- Research and purchase materials, tools, parts, and supplies as needed from existing and new vendors \\- Generate POs and bills in Fishbowl / Quickbooks Online, code purchases to the correct projects, and ensure Net 30 vendors get paid \\- Manage related paperwork and processes such as change orders, packing receipts, bills of materials (BOMs), etc. \\- Be the communication “hub” so everyone has the info they need to keep projects on track \\- Use Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Calendar, Google Hangouts, Trello, etc. to stay organized and in communication \\- Occasionally pick up orders as needed (mileage reimbursed or use the company truck) Who you are: \\- 2+ years experience procurement, purchasing, inventory management, project coordination, production coordination, or similar \\- Organized to a fault \\- Learns new software quickly \\- Strong English language skills (both written and verbal) \\- Valid CA driver’s license with no DUIs on driving record Optional bonus points for any of the following - please let us know if you have any of these skills!
