Botanicaz is an online exotic plant shop that is opening a storefront location by mid-2021. https://www.etsy.com/shop/Botanicaz (Please do not try contacting us via Etsy. Adhere to our labeling system and label plants accurately Prepare plants to be photographed (ensuring all plants are healthy enough to sell, watered appropriately, checked for pests, dead material removed, pots wiped clean, etc) Treat plants with pesticides as necessary (PPE are provided) Keep work areas clean and free of debris Job Requirements: Ability to work carefully with delicate, easily-damaged, sensitive plants Ability to work in a high-pace, production-like environment with daily quotas that must be met Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time while examining, photographing, and watering plants Ability to work in front of studio lights for an 8-hour work day Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout an 8-hour work day Ability to lift 45lbs Ability to maneuver in a, at times, tightly spaced environment Ability to work independently, manage your own time, meet deadlines, and take direction well Though not required, preference will be given to applicants with one or more of these qualifications: Have houseplants Familiarity with the different plant genera that we sell (philodendrons, begonias, monsteras, hoyas, etc.) This position is part-time or full-time, with some flexibility on building a schedule that can work for you.
