Exposure It is a professional real estate media company serving the greater Pittsburgh area. We work with top brokerages and agents to deliver high-quality listing photography, drone, video, and 3D tours. We've built our reputation on fast turnaround, consistent quality, and reliable service.
We're hiring a dedicated field photographer to handle a steady pipeline of residential listing shoots through one of our national brokerage partnerships. This is not a "when work comes in" gig — we have consistent, year-round volume ready to go.
The Role
You show up. You shoot. You upload. We handle everything else.
Our editing team processes all photos in-house. You are not responsible for editing, retouching, client delivery, invoicing, scheduling, or any admin work. Your job is to show up on time, capture clean HDR bracket sets with proper composition, upload, and move on to the next one.

What You'll Be Doing
Shooting 30–50 high-resolution interior and exterior photos per property using HDR bracketing
Capturing drone aerials when included in the package (Part 107 certification required)
Uploading unedited photo files same-day after each shoot to our platform
Being professional and courteous with agents and homeowners while onsite
Accommodating same-week scheduling including occasional weekend shoots
What We Need From You
Your own camera body capable of HDR auto-bracketing with a 14–16mm wide-angle lens (full-frame)
Your own sturdy tripod (required for HDR bracket shots)
FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (required for drone packages)
Your own reliable drone for aerial photography
Reliable personal vehicle — you'll cover the greater Pittsburgh metro area
Proof of general liability insurance (minimum $1M)
Ability to deliver consistent, clean compositions — straight verticals, proper exposure, full room coverage
Same-week availability with flexibility for occasional weekend shoots
What You Don't Need to Worry About
No editing or post-processing — our team handles all retouching and delivery
No invoicing — we pay you directly based on completed shoots
No client management — we handle all agent relationships, scheduling, and issue resolution
No confirming or rescheduling appointments — our operations team manages all of that
No marketing or lead generation — every shoot is assigned to you through our system
Compensation
This is a 1099 independent contractor position paid at 30% of each job.
What that looks like in practice:
Base photo-only shoots pay $45–$55 per shoot
Shoots with add-ons (drone, 3D tours, video) pay $70–$115+ per shoot
Premium packages with full media suites pay $90–$140+ per shoot
Average across all shoots: approximately $71 per shoot
Weekly earnings range from $700 in slower months to $1,100+ during peak spring/summer season
Paid on a regular schedule — no chasing payments
Volume is real and consistent. This is not a side gig that sends you one shoot a week. We're averaging 13 shoots per week year-round, with 16+ per week March through June.
Ideal Candidate

Already shoot real estate or architectural interiors and want guaranteed volume without managing your own clients
Are building your photography career and want high-rep experience with a professional team behind you
Have a drone and Part 107 and want to put them to use regularly
Value a simple, predictable workflow over the hustle of finding your own work
Can commit to a reliable weekly schedule and maintain quality across high volume

Your weekly availability (weekdays, weekends, or both)
Whether you hold a current FAA Part 107 certification
Your general service area or how far you're willing to travel within the Pittsburgh metro
A brief note on your current gear setup (camera body, lens, drone model if applicable)
