Real Estate Photographer - Contractor

Nordy Photography is hiring an experienced real estate photographer who can confidently shoot both photo and video (including drone video). This is a client-facing, on-location role focused on capturing clean, consistent listing media.

Most appointments are scheduled Monday–Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm, so weekday availability during those hours is important. You’ll need reliable transportation and be comfortable driving between properties. Scheduling is tied directly to your Google Calendar, so accurate availability and avoiding double-bookings is a must.

Just as important as your technical skill is how you show up: you’ll be working with everyone from high-producing agents and builder teams to homeowners who may be experiencing their first listing. Clear communication, professionalism, and a steady presence on-site matter here.

Compensation is per project and varies based on property size, complexity, and products ordered (this is not hourly pay).

Please note: we are only considering applicants with real estate photography experience, a portfolio that reflects that experience, and the required equipment to shoot photo + video + drone video. If you don’t meet those requirements, this role won’t be the right fit.

Requirements

1+ year of real estate photography experience (Required)
1+ year of real estate video experience
Portfolio showcasing real estate work (Required)
Experience with drone photography & Matterport tours (Required)
Ownership of all equipment listed below (Required)
Excellent communication, professionalism, and punctuality
Minimum availability of 3 days/week (Mon–Fri, 8 am–5 pm)
Strong time management and calendar skills
Comfortable driving between multiple locations per day
Ability to upload all files by 8 pm on shoot days

Required Equipment

FAA Part 107 License
Drone with high-quality camera & ND or CPL Filter
DSLR with bracketing (5/2 AEB mode)
Wide-angle lens (14–28mm ideal)
Tripod with 3-axis head
Matterport or a compatible 360 camera
Computer with high-speed internet (for uploading RAW files)
Smartphone (iPhone or Android)

Pay: $30.00 - $275.00 per hour
