Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable, customer-focused individual to join our growing team handling real estate photo shoots throughout the Indianapolis area.

No prior real estate photography experience is required — training is provided. We are looking for someone who is professional, dependable, comfortable working independently, and able to interact well with homeowners and agents.

Your responsibilities will include:

Photographing homes and properties
Ensuring the home is ready for photos (light decluttering or adjustments when needed)
Interacting professionally with clients on-site
Uploading and organizing files after shoots

Key Responsibilities

Capture high-quality interior and exterior photos of residential and commercial properties
Provide professional, high-level customer service to homeowners and real estate agents
Work independently at properties, including unoccupied homes
Prepare spaces for photography, including light decluttering, straightening, and adjusting items as needed
Small adjustments and light decluttering are expected when they can improve the final result
Follow company workflows, shot lists, and quality standards
Manage time efficiently and arrive on time to all scheduled appointments
Travel to multiple properties per day within the service area
Safely handle and transport photography equipment
Files should be uploaded promptly after shoots to support next-morning delivery timelines

Pay

Starting pay is $15/hour during training.

Pay increases based on certifications, experience, and role progression. Obtaining your FAA Part 107 certification includes a $5/hour pay increase, along with access to additional work opportunities and higher earning potential.

High performers handling full photo, drone, and video packages have opportunities for additional growth and increased rates over time.

Training & Onboarding

Training includes hands-on, one-on-one field training to learn our workflow, expectations, and quality standards.

Our goal is to help new team members become comfortable handling shoots independently within the first 30–45 days while continuing to grow their skills and confidence in the role.

Requirements

Strong customer service mindset and ability to interact professionally with clients
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Comfortable working independently and making decisions on-site
Ability to manage multiple appointments and stay on schedule
Willingness to learn and follow a structured system
Candidates should be based in or near the Indianapolis area to allow efficient travel between properties.

Drone Requirement (Important)

A Part 107 drone certification is required for this role — but you do not need to have it to start.

We will guide you through the process, and cover the cost of your first test attempt, as long as it is taken within your first 30–45 days.

After certification:

Pay increases by $5/hour
Access to additional shooting opportunities
Increased scheduling availability

Schedule & Growth

Initial role is part-time (approximately 20–25 hours/week)
After drone certification, workload can expand up to full-time (up to 40 hours/week) based on availability and performance

Typical working hours fall between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, depending on the daily schedule and number of properties.

Start and end times may vary based on appointments, travel, and workload. Some schedule flexibility is important due to changing appointment schedules and weather conditions.. Some days may be lighter, while others may involve multiple back-to-back appointments.

Schedule flexibility is available. Time off can be requested in advance as long as it does not conflict with scheduled appointments or existing bookings. Two weeks’ notice is preferred when possible.

Technology Requirements

Reliable high-speed internet with strong upload capability
Reliable computer capable of handling large file transfers

Reliability Expectations

Due to the nature of real estate scheduling, reliability and communication are extremely important. Team members are expected to arrive on time, maintain scheduled appointments, and communicate professionally with clients and staff.

Background checks are required for this role.

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
