About Us Nova Coast Media is a San Diego-based real estate media company specializing in high-end photography and video for agents, developers, and hospitality brands. We are expanding our contractor network and looking for reliable creatives who can step in when needed and deliver consistent, high-quality work. Role Overview This is a freelance, on-site role based in San Diego. You may specialize in one or offer both services. Responsibilities For Photographers: Photograph residential properties (interior, exterior, and detail shots) Shoot using flambient (flash + ambient blending) techniques only Capture clean, straight, well-composed images For Videographers: Capture cinematic real estate video walkthroughs Shoot both horizontal and vertical content when needed Maintain smooth, stabilized footage with proper exposure For Both (if applicable): Drone photo and video (when required) Zillow 3D Tours / Matterport scans (if equipped) Deliver organized RAW / unedited files promptly after each shoot Communicate professionally with clients on-site Follow shot lists and brand standards Requirements Strong portfolio relevant to your specialty (required) Professional gear appropriate to your role Photographers: Wide-angle lens (12–16mm range), tripod Must be experienced in flambient (flash + ambient blending) Ability to capture clean, consistent RAW files ready for editing Videographers: Gimbal and video-capable camera Strong understanding of composition, movement, and exposure Additional Requirements: Drone + Part 107 license (required) 360 camera for Zillow 3D / Matterport (preferred, not required) Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel 30–50+ miles Strong communication and professionalism Compensation $75–$350+ per shoot depending on size, scope, and services Travel pay provided for shoots outside of San Diego County Opportunity for increased volume over time based on performance What We’re Looking For Specialists who are confident in their craft Clean, consistent capture (no heavy correction needed later) Reliability and responsiveness Professional, client-facing presence Comfortable being on-call and stepping in when needed Application Requirements Please include: Portfolio (required) Whether you specialize in photography, videography, or both Equipment list Areas you’re willing to travel Typical availability
